BRAND NEW DIET BLOG!

I thought it might be kinda fun (and smart) to make a new blog dedicated solely to my dieting and shtuff (just so everything is ordered!) I will of course put posts on this blog and everyday I will put a link to the diet post on the new blog!
Hope you guys enjoy and check it out: http://workoutmonkey.blogspot.com/

Diets...

Like most of the world's population my MAIN New Year's Resolution (like every year) included losing weight. Now, I don't know about you guys but I never stick to that one particular resolution. But this year shall be different!
I have decided to blog about everything I eat and EVERYTHING I burn (calorie wise) so I have some initiative!
So yeah. I won't reveal to you my current weight or my goal weight (just because that's something I'm not comfortable with at the moment) but maybe when I achieve what I am going for I will show a picture (before and after of course) and reveal to you my weight. I don't care about losing weight but I do care about feeling good and being healthy (which is my main reason!)
I will also post little playlists of what I listen to while I work out! I like doing monthly ones. I'll probably post some videos I adore and other stuff like that including blogs I follow and adore!

So yeah, and don't forget! If you wanna be healthier and feel better don't YOU DARE be scared of failing because that's the one area in which I ALWAYS fail.
I might even make a blog only dedicated to my diets and do little posts here and links!

Hope you guys agree and comment!

Barry M Nail Polish Review

When I was in London during Christmas and (as always) went to TopShop. At the Barry M counter (which is orgasmic for me) I saw two nail poishes which grabbed my attention IMMEDIATELY!!

1. Barry M Nail Paint in "Mushroom 310"

So, a while ago there was this Gossip Girl episode in which Serena had on a mushroom brown nail polish on her (ridiculously) long nails! Since then I almost died searching for the perfect shade of brown. FINALLY I FOUND IT!
So here it goes my review:

Pigmentation and Formula: 20/20
For Barry M Nail Paints I feel that 2 coats gives an expert, manicure appearance. The creamy formula of the polish is amazing and goes on evenly.

Gloss/Shine: 20/20
Even without a top coat Barry M nail polishes are AMAZINGLY glossy and shiny!

Quick Dry Power: 15/20
In general a coat of any Barry M nail paint dries in about 15 minutes which is amazing seeing as it dries completely!

Staying Power: 20/20
One of the only nail polish brands I've come across that stays on for more than 2 days without constantly going over it with a clear coat!

Packaging: 10/10
For the price (only £2.95) the packaging is amazingly well done and professional. Everything from the shape of the bottle to the font type and color. It's just so simply appealing to the eye.

Removability: 10/10
It comes off so easily even with a million top coats over it. So quick!

Total score: 95/100

A+

2. Barry M Instant Nail Effects Nail Paint

Pigmentation and Formula: 15/20
Love that if not applied over a nail polish and applied directly onto the nail is serves as a Matte Black polish. The color isn't always a deep black which is kind of disappointing but the effect is reached immediately.

Gloss/Shine: 0/20
It comes up matte but it's acceptable seeing as it is just a design polish.

Quick Dry Power: 15/20
Dries almost immediately which is astonishing. 1 - 2 minutes and it's already completely dry!

Staying Power: 20/20
Stays on for about 3 - 4 days without constant touch ups!

Packaging: 10/10
For the price (only £3.95) the packaging is amazingly well done and professional. Everything from the shape of the bottle to the font type and color. It's just so simply appealing to the eye. The design on the wand top is adorable as well, reminds me of a barcode.

Removability: 10/10
It comes off so easily even with a million top coats over it. So quick!

Total score: 70/100

2010 Favorites

So 2010 is over and done with and we're well into 2011!
I just felt like stating some of my personal favorites of 2010, some interesting items I might add. These are in order of best or most used/useful product so yeah... Let us begin starting from number 10!

10. Urban Decay 24/7 Glide On Pencil in "Zero" (true black)
I wouldn't have purchased this if it wasn't in the UD Book of Shadows Vol. III since I'm not a big fan of black pencil liners but I really love the softness and smudgeability of this particular pencil. And the packaging is adorable
8/10

9. Revlon Photoready Foundation in "Natural Beige"
My mom bought me this foundation this summer. I love the dewey finish it gives and the impressive coverage. It's also dirt cheap and lasts forever. The slight yellow hue of this shade is excellent and helps correct discoloration.
9/10

8. Urban Decay eyeshadow in "Last Call" (shimmery purple)
I love this shade! I've used this countless times. The pigmentation is impeccable even without any base or primer and the shimmer isn't overwhelming. It is so versatile since I've used to everyday as a soft wash over the entire lid or for evening wear as a smokey eye. I love, love, love, love, love, love this product so frickin' much! IT IS AMAZING. It's so smooth and OMG, amazing. That's the only way I can express my love for this product: perfection!
10/10

7. Barry M Nail Paint in "Mushroom" (lovely brown/taupe color)
I purchased this fairly recently from TopShop for only £2.95. I purchased other Barry M nail products this summer and fell in love with the pigmentation and shine they have. Even without a top coat they are amazing! Click here for a full review on two new Barry M nail paints I purchased in London (including this one)
9/10

6. China Glaze nail polish in "Pink Voltage" (Neon) (neon pink)
This summer I went to ULTA for the first time (LOVED IT) and purchased my first 3 China Glaze polishes ("Pink Voltage", "Towel Boy Toy" and "Turned Up Turquoise"). I loved the finish and the pigmentation of them all but I particularly loved this one and how tan it made me look (yes, neon pink is glorious with a honey kissed tan).
10/10

5. Urban Decay eyeshadow in "Ransom" (very vibrant purple)
I wanted this for the longest time but never brought myself to buy "yet another purple eyeshadow". Luckily I was given the Urban Decay Book of Shadows Vol. III which includes this amazingly pigmented shade. I LOVE IT. LOVE. LOVE. LOVE!!!!!
10/10

4. 120 Palette

It's just such an essential. Impossible to live without
10/10

3. Urban Decay Primer Potion in "Original"
Can't live without it! It makes all the difference. I purchased it this summer and have used it every day since. It still hasn't run out!
10/10

2. MAC Cosmetics' Fluidline in "Blacktrack"

Ever since I bought this I threw out most of my liquid liners and pencils just because it is so amazing. Works on water line, tight line and lash line. AMAZING!
10/10

1. YSL Faux Cils Mascara in "1"

It's pricey, very pricey, but it is so worth it! I love this mascara with all my heart. It is amazing. Weirdly I love when my lashes are slightly clumped. Love it!
10/10
